1.- We cut the strips of our flip-flops to reuse only the sole.
2.- With the sharp punch we proceed to draw the crown of holes in the upper margin of the sole.

The holes should be made 1 centimeter apart, drawing a succession of 1 cm perpendicular holes, connecting the top of the sole with the lateral edge, both located half a centimeter from the edge.
Measures
It is important that the holes are made well, and enough distance from the edge, otherwise the rubber will crack when we make the first line of crochet.
